How to Boost Your Self-Esteem and Crush Your Ego
There is a fine line difference between ego and self-esteem
--
Ego comes from the illusion we create in our minds.
But self-esteem is purely based on the reality of who we are.
The imagination we hold about ourselves and what makes us superior to others comes from Ego.
In your mind, you could be the best Graphic Designer, but the reality could be you are average in your work.
And worst, that imagination is working against you.
Instead of boosting your confidence and encouraging you to work more on your skills, it makes you overconfident.
However, self-esteem is based on facts and figures.
Self-esteem will make you proud of yourself only through the hours you put into the work.
It’s based on the current position you hold in your life.
Work on Self-Esteem
When we say we have to work on our self-esteem, we have to use this present moment and utilize it to build something that makes us feel better in the long term.
The more you live in the present moment and make the most use of it, the more you increase your self-esteem.
You will not be able to increase your self-esteem by living in the imagination.
Self-esteem is all about using the present moment and squeezing it to the last drop of joy.
Working for hours and years to be a doctor is what increases self-esteem.
It’s based on your real-time investments in something or dedicating yourself to some purpose or craft.
You can’t fool your mind by deliberately telling it something that you are not.
You can’t claim to be the best Writer while your mind knows that you don’t know how to write well.
Self-esteem comes with the reality of who you are and what you are from inside.
So if you want to work on your self-esteem, use your hands more…
