How to Utilize Negative Thinking to Bring Awareness In Life
Negative thinking is also helpful if you use it wisely
--
Negative thinking is worthwhile. It saves you from dangers. And helps you avoid gatherings of people who are not so good and, most importantly, could save your life.
In the Stone age (roughly 2.5 million years ago to 10,000 B.C.), when humans were hunters and gatherers, this negative thinking was beneficial for survival. In the Palaeolithic period, the most negative thinker was cunning, intelligent, and successful because he was a lifesaver.
But in the age of technology and the modern world, we don’t need much negative thinking since we are not going to distant places to hunt wild animals who could attack us from any angle in the jungle.
But our quest has been changed now. We are inclined to create things that could make people’s life easier and comfortable to live. Our focus has changed from survival to innovation.
Innovation comes with a negligible amount of negative thinking and an abundance amount of positive thinking.
Here is the catch: Absence of the negative brings the positive.
If you bring enough awareness regarding negative thinking, only then will you be able to get it away from your life.
But before I share a technique to bring awareness to you, let us know why we should avoid negative thinking in the first place.
Why Should You Avoid Negative Thinking
The irony is that people think negatively and want to feel great about themselves, but instead, they do their damage.
Negative thinking does nothing but disturbs the person who is thinking negatively. It stresses you. It distracts you from your core values, and most importantly, lets you down in your own eyes.
It snatches the opportunity to make genuine and long-term friends. Negative thinking without letting you know keeps the most promising and life-long companions away from you.
